  As a Community Outreach Ceramic Instructor, I have the opportunity to teach ceramic classes to children and adults who are lacking in artistic opportunities due to geographical (school districts) and financial circumstance. I work within the Port Chester elementary schools, as well as on-site at the Clay Art Center.Additionally, I have taught ceramic classes with special needs populations, including the mentally ill, developmentally delayed, and Alzheimer's patients.

  As a volunteer at the Cardinal Hayes school for Special Children, I participated in a program designed by Tim Lefens, author of the true story, Flying Colors.
