Emerge: A Child’s Place is where I completed my level 2B fieldwork placement. I was at Emerge for 12 weeks where I had the opportunities to evaluate, re-evaluate, plan and implement full treatment sessions for the entire caseload, discharge, and document. I worked alongside five other occupational therapists where I got to learn different styles of treatments and observe multiple therapeutic interventions. At Emerge I was introduced to the Interactive Metronome and Wilbarger Brushing Protocol. While at Emerge I completed a student project where I used multiple resources to complete an activities list for reflex integration. Show less

This site was where I interned for my level 2A fieldwork. I was at Rex for 12 weeks in the acute care setting where I received the opportunities to chart review, give initial evaluations, re-evaluations, plan/implement client-centered treatments, and document. At Rex I had the opportunity to treat and co-treat orthopedic and neuro. patients on a daily basis. This site was where I interned for my level 2A fieldwork. As an elective program of the Chatham University's MOT program, I participated in the Global Health Perspectives Course. I had the opportunity to volunteer at CRECER clinic, a nursing home, El Asile (a day facility), and an orphanage. We spent 10 days within these facilities and were able to co-treat with physical therapy students. As a team, we were able to create and implement therapy sessions with a variety of individuals.
