I had the opportunity to work with Kellie Shoffner for seven years in both an elementary school setting and state support team office. As principal of an elementary school, I witnessed Mrs. Shoffner’s positive relations with students in compassionate support while also holding them accountable. Kellie’s rapport with teachers and other staff was also one of mutual respect. Her work was always thorough and finished in a timely manner despite the many disruptions that can occur in a school office.
