  I am a Director in the Assurance and Risk Advisory practice at PwC. I assist clients in the Caribbean regional adopt new accounting standards such as IFRS 9 - Financial Instruments and IFRS 17 - Insurance Contracts. I provide educational training that is specific to the needs of financial institutions operating in the Caribbean. I lead Economic Substance for PwC Cayman Islands. Assisting clients in assessing the scope of the law, determining gaps and completing annual returns. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from The University of Victoria and a Masters in Professional Accounting from The University of Saskatchewan and am a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants. I worked in the PwC Vancouver office from 2005-2008 and in 2009 I transferred to PwC Cayman Islands. I currently am involved with the technical and methodology group for the widder network of PwC firms in Caribbean as the representative for the Banking & Capital Markets group. I am the co-founder of a local company, Tea Time in Cayman which provides quality loose leaf tea to the Cayman Islands and a non-executive director of Meals on Wheels of the Cayman Islands.
