Kelley posseses all the tools and intangibles. An excellent communicator. Driven and motivated. A great teammate who is focused but also knows how to have fun at work. She sees the big picture. Her intelligence is a real bonus. She is an asset to the organization.

Kelley has always been the consumate professional. She's easy to work with and always made my job easier. While she feels blessed to work for the sisters at Clyde, it is the nuns who are blessed to have Kelley!

I enjoyed a stint as managing editor of a small market daily newspaper. I managed budgets and led a staff of reporters, photographers and designers to produce an award-winning daily. An eye condition meant an end to the daily grind of proofreading. The publisher asked that I continue writing my weekly column, which became syndicated nationwide. I also worked as a freelance magazine writer during the interim before securing another full-time position with the Benedictine Sisters. I was thrilled to return to my alma mater to help promote its people, places and programs. I specialized in media relations and focused on the Kansas City and St. Joseph markets. I established the university’s first radio news service that provided news segments featuring employees and students to stations in the four-state area. I wrote for Northwest internal publications and its alumni magazine. I created the inaugural mascot fan club for children, worked on marketing campaigns, and helped coordinate special events such as fundraisers, ribbon cuttings and award dinners.

    • Program Administrator
      • 1995 - 1999

I created programming schedules per contract, assisted with various promotions such as contests and special events, and developed quarterly and yearly reports for the FCC. I was responsible for maintaining the public file per state and federal laws and kept confidential all files related to the station's lucrative programming contracts.
