HarrodsAs a specialist it is my job and responsibility to serve and assist all customers with a gold standard service in a majorly popular luxury brand that sells both makeup and fragrance. Tom Ford Beauty in Harrods is the number 2 door globally and with this I have had extremely high expectations placed on me, from speaking with very high up people in the brand to dealing with a range of customers and clients, but working with these expectations and responsibilities has further improved my skill sets when it comes to working in a team and a busy environment and also working with customers and clients from different cultures and backgrounds. I work specifically as a makeup artist and fragrance specialist, within makeup I greet customers and help them find products that they’re looking for as well as guiding them through the products we sell to help further add to the sale, my main way of doing this is up selling and link selling from our range of products. This has led to me being one of the top sellers for the brand. Within the service process I also aim to book my clients back in for further services, whether that be makeup appointments for events such as red carpets, photo shoots etc. In the time I have worked for Tom Ford Beauty I have built a large VIP customer list and in doing that I have been able to future proof business to keep aiming for and exceeding the KPI’s set by the brand. Some examples of the kpis are, ATV, AUS, bookings, rebooks etc. Working within this brand and store as taught me so much but mainly furthering skills I already had, like working under pressure and with high targets and different customer demographics. When i started as a Keyholder, along with the rest of the team we had to set up the store as it was a new opening which involved many responsibility’s such as visuals, stock, standards, basically building the store from the ground up. Being a key holder comes with the responsibility of being part of the management team and managing the team of over 20 staff. In my role i was also responsible for, scheduling staff breaks, areas of the store in which they will be working, ensuring all customers are engaged with and setting the targets and kpis. I also did banking, change order and financing in store. I have brought many ideas into this store, i come up with a figure board to track daily, weekly and monthly our figures for everyone to see mtd and wtd along with our kpi’s, another idea i brought in was management checklists for my self and the other managers, this was made up of open and closing checklists for the store and back of house checklists so we could ensure all processes and procedures were followed at all times, this was then implemented from higher ups business wide, I personally am also in charge of stock, testers, returns and write offs and had to ensure all testers were at a gold standard and that all defective stock/testers were written off and was set up to return to warehouse. Working in Morphe has taught me a lot and how to manage a store that has taken millions in it first 6 months of being open. We also are the #1 Morphe store worldwide. Show less

I took it upon myself to learn the art of makeup and took a Level 2 Makeup Artistry course to get my self qualified, i was self taught to a level that was good enough to have my own clients that i would do makeup looks for weddings, party's etc; but i felt i needed the qualification as proof, as times gone on i have gained almost 80,000 Followers on instagram and work with many big brands as a beauty influencer, i am consistently and continuously creating new and innovative looks on my instagram and my audience grows bigger and bigger as time goes on! Bare Minerals BoutiqueAs a key holder for the bare minerals boutique, my responsibilities include many from my previous position in the business such as the daily and weekly figures, but now I support my boutique manger to do them for the whole team, I also have an input on stock ordering still as well as events for product launches and store standards on a bigger scale. My extra responsibilities as a key holder are than I hold keys to the boutique as well as the managers, I make sure the store in opened and closed correctly and step in for management and run the boutique when they are away or on annual leave, I also have access to the safe and deal with the banking too. I along with the management team also do the shop floor training for the beauty advisors too, to keep the kpi’s where they Ishould should be and I personally always strive to exceed any targets that are set for me and always keep consistency in my personal figures whilst helping others to achieve theres. As a counter manager in for bare minerals i learnt a lot about working in retail cosmetics, such as working with customers to find the perfect products and matches per customer and making all customers feel confident when they were sat in the seat, i did this by doing tailor made consultations with each customer from finding out skin types and the finish they would like there makeup to be to speaking about skin concerns and ways to address them and to help improve them. I also planned events for my counter and linked with external business to increase extra incremental business. As well as being customer facing I also did a lot of admin work such as; daily figures and paperwork which then lead to weekly figures and a weekly business review, I also did the monthly paperwork and attendance sheets too. My responsibility was also to order things like testers and counter supplies to keep counter standards at 100% whilst also making sure everything was stocked up and sanitary.
