  I am currently working as a producer to hold auditions, participate in location scouting, and assist in time management for storyboard work and the creation of the shotlist while preparing for our first shoot. I and helping to refine those details while also being the point of contact for the crew.

  This is an officer role within LUX: Film Production Club. I work with a committee to assist and help organize the quarterly productions at the University of Washington. We are currently working on a project to gather resources and provide tips for new directors and producers.

• Producer of "Ahead at the End of the Trail"

  I worked with a crew of roughly 15 people to create a short horror film using vintage film camera and shot with 16mm film. I helped with auditions, organizing shoot days, communication with cast and crew, and assisting the director in all other needs in the background. I also communicated with a company in Colorado to digitalize our film for editing. I had to fill out order forms to ship the film and organize payment for the services. I ran safety meetings on set and provided a safety kit, snacks, and water. I also ordered dinner for cast and crew on shoot days. I coordinated with drivers to make sure everyone on the crew had transportation to our shoot locations. This short film is still in post-production. Show less

  I helped the producer with any assistance needed. I made thorough notes during auditions, sat in during shot list meetings, created props, assisted on set with continuity, and suggested creative ideas for the short film. I was present for the shoot days and help with organization. This short film is still in post-production.

• Assistant Producer, Grip, and Actor in "If You Really Knew Me..."

  I attended trainings held by the DP and director to learn about the lighting equipment and lighting techniques. I learned how to set up and use cove lighting in a space. On set, I recreated the cove lighting, helped to control and manipulate lighting in the space, and packed the equipment when finished. As assistant producer, I read lines to the actor during filming and helped the actor with ideas for delivering her lines. As an actor, I was spontaneously needed to be on-screen for a character that was not planned to be on camera and speak a line that has not been casted yet. I was able to fill this role as I had been working closely with the other actor and script. This short film is still in post-production. Show less

• Student Runner for "The Culture Is: Indigenous Women"

  I had the opportunity to work with other runners and assist the production of an episode of "The Culture Is" featuring Indigenous women. On set, I sat in for the talent so cameras, microphones, and lighting was perfect for the guests of the show. I also did other tasks such as beauty shots of the food being served, running meals from the kitchen to set for preparation of the scene, helped to block chairs, assisted with eh talent's baggage, helped to clear set after the shoot, and helped with spontaneous mishaps during the filming of the show. I spoke with the women being featured and escorted them around the set. Most of my work was done with production managers, production assistants, and producers.
