Viking-Cives Midwest manufactures and installs dump bodies and related products, including a line of smaller truck attachments, along with associated snow and ice control and removal equipment. Our customers are Missouri DOT, Kentucky DOT, Tennessee DOT, as well as many other state departments. We also handle many accounts with various cities and private owners. My time at Viking-Cives Midwest has consisted of being flexible and being willing to hold multiple positions. I started off as a sales assistant in order for me to grow and learn the products and services that we manufactured. I have since been promoted into Sales Representative for Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky, and Northeast Arkansas. I have also spent time in our production department assisting with improving our efficiency in our shop and coordinating with the shop superintendent on jobs that need to be completed.

As a sales representative of Pepsi MidAmerica in the Cape Girardeau area, I was responsible for maintaining and growing sales within accounts. I also was responsible for soliciting new business and building relationships with new and current clients. I was very involved with promotions we sponsored within the community such as Coats for kids. I was responsible for gaining market share in key areas of Southeast Missouri State University from other distributors. At Cyclewerx my main job was to give the customers the absolute best buying experience. It didn't matter if they were buying a used 15 dollar bicycle or a 10,000 dollar bicycle, I wanted to make sure they left completely satisfied and knew they were making the right purchase. I believed the same to be true when it come to repairing customers bikes. There was no difference in a cheap department store bike or a high end racing machine. I taught classes to area groups including local schools and the Boys and Girls Club. I also assisted customers through building training programs and anything that was needed to give them the best possible experience and to help them achieve their goals.
