Manage creative writing programs for youth in Kindergarten-12th grade, including: year-long classes & mentorships, drop-in sessions, quarterly workshops, summer camps, and events. - For each program, oversee: program evaluation; teacher hiring, training, and retention of 30-50 teachers each year; student enrollment & family support of 200+ students each year; scholarship assistance program; outreach and marketing; supplies procurement; provide on-site assistance for programs while in session. - Serve as the primary point of contact for current and prospective teachers, current and prospective students, guardians, interested schools, affiliated organizations, and the general public. - With Finance Director and Education Director, set yearly budgets and monitor each term. - Support the creation of youth marketing and promotional materials, document programs, and collect feedback & testimonials from students, parents, and teachers. - Supervise Youth Programs Assistant and summer college intern program. - Maintain contact records, track attendance, administer surveys, and other evaluation tools for Youth Programs. Develop reports for executive leadership with an eye towards building equitable practices. - Build program participation and registration by steering intentional outreach efforts to schools, marginalized communities, and other youth organizations including off-site visits and presentations. - Represent staff at monthly DEI Committee meetings with Board members and Community Representatives.
