Responsible for studying near-term and future requirements and crafting a long-term acquisition, organization, and employment strategy for the current and next-generation of Sea Combat helicopters.

Commanding Officer

Chief Executive for a 300-person organization responsible for providing combat effects and combat support services across multiple mission areas to US and Coalition military and government customers. During my tenure as Commanding Officer, HSC-7 earned several awards for organizational excellence. Further, I led not only HSC-7, but all US Navy helicopter relief efforts during the 2017 hurricane season and was selected by my peers to receive the 2017 Navy & Marine Corps Association Leadership Award.

Executive Officer

Second in Command, responsible to the Commanding Officer for Safety and Risk Management, Manpower and Training, Career Management, Public Relations and Administrative Support. During my tenure HSC-7 won multiple awards for Safety and Manpower management while executing a highly successful combat deployment in support Operation INHERENT RESOLVE.

Staff Officer, J7 Training and Exercise

Led a cross-functional team in the design and execution of pre-deployment training exercises for Headquarters and Headquarters Personnel deploying from NATO and Partner nations to Afghanistan for service in the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and Resolute Support missions. Specifically responsible for combining multiple independent exercises into one large integrated exercise that trained and certified all HQ levels from the Theatre-Strategic (4-star) to Tactical (1-star) levels simultaneously, in order to meet the needs of the new Resolute Support mission.
