Professional Musician and Group Administrator My colleagues and I in Coláiste Lurgan initiated the TG Lurgan YouTube channel to create a ‘buzz’ around the Irish language through pop music and social media. Today the channel has over 32 million hits on YouTube. We created the band Seo Linn to take this exciting Irish language experience on the road, touring our as Gaeilge cover songs both nationally and internationally. Major accomplishments: • Seo Linn marketed and ran the highest ever funded music Kickstarter campaign in Ireland, accumulating over €50,000 in contributions in a month. • Official Ambassadors for the Irish football team in the Euros, 2016. • Composed for and performed at for the Official RTE Centenary Concert, 2016 • Ran a successful PR campaign with Irish charity Self Help Africa in Uganda, Africa. • Toured extensively as Irish language ambassadors in Ireland and internationally. Showoff is An Irish software agency specialising in iOS, Android and Web application design and development. I was a full-stack developer at Showoff, developing primarily in the Ruby on Rails Framework. I communicate regularly with graphic designers and UX engineers to facilitate and support their role in product development. Currently completing a 3 month internship with the rapidly expanding Parkpnp as a Junior Developer. Developing app features in Ruby within the Ruby on Rails framework, in an Agile work environment. Parkpnp is one of Europe's fastest growing parking apps, matching under-utilised parking spaces with drivers to solve the global parking crisis. One space at a time. One city at a time. "I learned Ruby and Ruby on Rails under guidance of the company’s CTO, wrote RSPEC unit tests for the Parkpnp code base, making small fixes and maintenance changes. Worked in a team of three developers in an agile working environment with daily scrums. This included creating models, views and controllers, implementing database relationships using PostgreSQL database, and implementing a basic front-end using Bootstrap." Major accomplishments: • Learned Ruby and Ruby on Rails proficiently in two weeks, began work on codebase. • Developed a parking management SaaS from scratch in a team of three developers. • This SaaS is currently being deployed with pilot companies in Ireland and abroad.
