      In this Final Year Project, I conceptualised and devised an effective management plan for Ballyvergan Marsh, Youghal Co. Cork. Here I delivered exceptional ecological expertise and carried out aquatic field surveying of waterbodies. I spearheaded management of various processes and procedures, including aquatic field surveying and invertebrate identification. I carried out Ornithological mammal and Odonata surveying of the marsh. I also coordinated with the local community to identify and research the history of marsh. I collaborated with Youghal Tidy Towns and SECAD organisations to provide the report as needed.Key Achievements:• Reduced salinity and improved biodiversity by designing an effective management plan.• Leveraged technical expertise in establishing extent of saline intrusion into the marsh.

      At I.R.D. Duhallow, I served as Intern Ecologist. In this past role, my core responsibility was to oversee Hen Harrier Monitoring/Surveying throughout breeding season to establish the occupancy of territorial breeding birds in each SPA and determine initiation of breeding attempt. Here I developed comprehensive experience in Invasive Plant species control and removal, including Japanese Knotweed, Himalayan Balsam, and Giant Rhubarb).
