My duties included promoting all construction industry competence schemes, including CSCS, CPCS, ECS, Skillcard etc. to employers, sub-contractors, operatives, federations, clients and others by means of face-to-face meetings. It also involved training assessors and verifiers in delivering on-site assessed NVQs, persons to become Work Based Recorders and helping seek accreditation with appropriate awarding bodies. I have assisted organisations to gain awarding body approval to become accredited centres for NVQs and to help access available funding from various organisations, such as CITB, Train to Gain and ESF funding. This role also involved mobile working and was target driven which I consistently managed to achieve, being the best in the country on several occasions. Show less

Once started, I managed their progress throughout by college and site visits dealing with various queries that occurred and conducting formal reviews of their progress. I helped companies with their grants, produced reports for CITB and colleges, and gave presentations to pupils and teachers at careers fairs, conventions and school visits.
