Set up, and maintain all technology in the school district. This includes, but is not limited to, Mac and Windows computers, iPads, Chromebooks, Android devices, Yealink phone system, camera system, copiers, Windows servers, switches, and wireless access points. Working daily in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Active Directory, Internet Filters, VMware with virtual servers, Remote Desktop, Apple Education, and others. I work very closely with teachers, students, and administrators to ensure their technology needs are satisfied. In order to stay organized, I used a help ticket system to keep all of the technical needs in one place. This also helped me to see patterns of recurring issues so I could correct those. Work closely with the Superintendent and Treasurer to create a five year forecast of technology. I created the plan so I have a constant rotation of technology and devices. This helps to keep devices and technology up to date and the staff and students working to their best potential. Along with the five year forecast, I am responsible for purchasing new technology for the district. I worked with the budget I created to make sure we could purchase the equipment without going over budget. I worked throughout the Coronavirus pandemic ensuring technology was still functioning for staff and students while they were off campus, remote learning. The school sent devices home K-12 so I was working with a variety of age levels and technical levels remotely. Show less
