For the past year I have worked with Keith McCord at Adorama. He has a wide range of experience that served his position as Category Marketing Manager well. Keith impressed me with his knowledge in gaming, computers, electronics and marketing and he was always happy to source equipment needed for our events. He’s personable and creative and with his knowledge could fill any position. He would be a great addition to any team.

Keith is truly a rare gem of a marketer - he has the performance marketing chops to plan and oversee complex omnichannel campaigns across many verticals and partners, effortlessly manage partner relationships, and also brings a creative background that makes for a very well-rounded and formidable skillset. But outside of hard skills, it’s the soft skills that take Keith from an excellent marketer to a great leader. In our time working together on the Category Marketing team at Adorama, I saw how effective he is at proposing new ideas and training new team members. How willing he is to volunteer for new projects and initiatives that will propel the business forward. How comfortable he is leading large meetings and teams. And also how wonderful he is to work with day in and day out, even when things are hectic. Keith would be an incredible addition to any organization looking for a highly skilled marketer who can deliver outstanding results and impact culture.

I served in a number of job functions while employed at Canon. Most recently, my focus was on Channel Strategy & Retail Marketing for Canon's Consumer Product Division. I was responsible for providing our Sales team & retail partners with marketing expertise and strategic planning to show the value of Canon’s consumer product lineup. I also managed Canon’s partnership with MarketStar (3rd party tech representatives). Previously, I was the lead marketer for the hdAlbum product line, a fine arts photography book printed on Canon's DreamLabo 5000 Production Photo Inkjet printer. Jan 2008 - Feb 2016
As the head of Creative & Marketing Services for a premier promotional products distributor, I developed a keen eye for detail, printing techniques & proofing. I was responsible for offering solutions on how to better reach our clients through visual & written communication. I managed the creative staff, supervising & training interns & junior staff to execute all print & web projects in accordance with brand standards, as well as encouraging new & innovative creative strategies. I worked in conjunction with our eCommere Department to institute unified print & web projects relating to all marketing campaigns. I developed banners, e-mail blasts, videos & other media to bolster our website & social media platforms. I was responsible for the visualization of the new front-end of the GNP e-commerce website redesign. I was also responsible for maintaining the GNP Brand through self-promotion, including catalogs & mailings, apparel & giveaways, and all other printed material. I handled all aspects of the development of our annual print catalogs, which includes coordinating product & model photo shoots, product selection, layout & design, proofing & correction and being the liaison with the printer for all production related issues. I designed logos & layouts for all internal promotions including apparel, client giveaways & special event merchandise. Orientation Coordinator
-
Mar 2004 - Jan 2005
As the inaugural student to serve in the newly created Orientation Coordinator position, it was my responsibility to oversee the New Student Orientation process from start to finish. Working with the Director & Assistant Director of Student Affairs, I created an advertising campaign to spark interest for applicants for the Orientation Leader position. We had a record number of applicants, whom I aided in interviewing & hiring. In preparation for the incoming students, I was responsible for running Orientation Leader training. I was additionally responsible for coordinating all the programs that occurred during Orientation, all while serving as an Orientation Leader for my own group of new students. I completed Fall Orientation and met with the other Staff members to evaluate the process and to see how we could improve it for next year. I was also asked to serve as one of the few Spring Orientation Leaders who welcome the mid-year transfer & exchange students. Show less
