I know Keith from my time as the USA rep for Gaw Capital Hospitality in the USA. Gaw Capital . GCP Hospitality is the hospitality arm of Gaw Capital Partners. GCP Hospitality manages over 39 hotels and serviced apartments and 7500 keys around the world with an enviable reputation in the hospitality industry for providing asset management, hotel management and business development of the highest standards. The Ambassador Hotel in Chicago is one of the crown jewels of the Chicago Hotel scene with a glamourous history dating back to 1926. The hotel is managed by First Hospitality and under the JDV by Hyatt flag. The hotel reopened in April 2021 after a full year of closure due to the worldwide Covid19 pandemic. I was personally involved in the recruitment of Keith. What struck me was his very upbeat and positive deamenor expressing a lot of passion that segued immediately and directly to the hotel and his team. Keith faced numerous challenges at the Ambassador from driving both occ and rate as well as dealing with a slew of challenges with a third party F&B operator. Eventully he took over the F&B of the property separating from the 3rd party. I have got to know Keith quite well. Never afraid to take on any task he is ready for any challenge. Keith is very likeable, his team was coehrent and a lead with a natural style that was open to include anyone pulling in the same direction. I truly enjoyed working with Keith and despite the fact that I have moved on I am still in touch with Keith. I have no hesitation to recommend Keith to anyone who seeks a professional hotelier who is seeking a leader who will bring a lot of passion and desire to the organization. Last not least he is financially savvy and responsible.

I have worked with many people in the hospitality industry, but Mr. Cestare is a standout leader for a handful of reasons. Keith is forward thinking. Constantly thinking about ways to innovative within the industry to defy the service standard of what people would typically expect. Keith is a listener. A skill that is talk for granted by most that simply order people order to complete tasks, while listening to not only his guests but also employees to consistently deliver a quality product together with his team. Keith is overall a great person. Understanding, supportive, and kind would be just a few words that would round out the description of who I believe that Keith is. This man is a great leader, that’s all I can say.
