Also work closely with operations and compliance on all new contracts to ensure reasonable and accurate payment terms are made. •Prepare the monthly radiologist payment accrual along with an in depth analysis to recognize and explain any significant expense and balance changes from the previous month(s). •Responsible for preparing journal entries, compiling and analyzing account information, reconciling month end balance sheet reconciliations, and reviewing P&L discrepancies. Some accounts include: deferred rent, CIP/ongoing projects, prepaid other, repairs and maintenance, accrued radiology fees, computer inventory, deferred taxes, personal property taxes, and severance. •Participate in month-end close activities including preparing corporate and regional allocations, booking time sensitive entries, analyzing various expense accounts, closing various systems, and creating financial notes for month end meetings. •Manage a joint venture including preparing and distributing the monthly financial statements to all partners, calculating quarterly partner distributions, analyzing and explaining significant differences between the budget to actual reports, booking monthly equity and earnings, and keeping detailed balance sheet reconciliations for the company’s material accounts. •Working closely with upper management and other departments to complete special projects Show less
