In the role of an Assembler, I have to follow a range of procedures before, during and after the hydraulic cylinder had been tested. Before testing the tube and the rod together I have to do a range measurement checks to make sure all parts are coordinating with the drawing plans and fill out the quality sheet to say everything is ok and ready to test. When Testing you bring it through the procedures of testing all the rams one by one making sure that all are holding up to the recommended pressure and no leaking is accruing from anywhere on the ram Through every ram, you make you need to make sure that the standards of each ram are all the same and up to the companies standards and if not up to standards to take a detail note about the defect or quality issues are reported and fixed. I've also been involved in quality control, washing and cleaning down tubes and rods and making sure everything is accounted for before it is moved to the assembly line. Show less
