Staff Sergeant Keith W. Gendron is assigned to United Central Command (USCENTCOM), MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. Sergeant Gendron is the Lead Contingency Communications Package Technician. Sergeant Gendron maintains, operates and deploys $4.5M communications equipment spanning 4 commands in 12 countries Embassies. His efforts directly support C2 communications for 80 Flag Officers and equivalents, 4,500 joint service headquarters personnel, and many other government and military acronymic agencies. He also was awarded US Central Command’s NCO of the year 2012 after competing and winning both the 2nd Quarter and end of year NCO/Soldier Boards while being rewarded a Joint Commendation Medal for his efforts.
