  I was the Fire Chief for a small municipal VFD. Managed a 30k annual budget. Successfully wrote a FEMA AFG for 90k+ and was able to update all the SCBA's, breathing air compressor, and fire hoses. Purchased several apparatus, numerous sets of turnout gear. I really enjoyed working with the personnel of the vfd. Unfortunately due to repeated attacks from the town board and the continual reduction in budgets to the FD. I reluctantly hung up my chief hat. I was the Fire Chief for a small municipal VFD.
