Part of the Singapore listed Otto Marine Group, Go Marine provides vessels and related services, e.g., crewing, principally to the resouces sector.I was sole accountant responsible for operating entity Go Inshore, servicing Exmouth, Dampier and Port Hedland.My role included financial, project reporting and analysis for about 15 vessels, responsibility for the integrity of accounting records, preperation and lodgement of BAS, co-ordination of inputs to the accounting system, asset register maintenance, credit control.Key achievements includes initiating and supervising sales invoicing information and document flow, including controls to ensure accuracy and completeness. Also, I took over a debtors ledger of about $2m with many accounts overdue and having unresolved transactions. Within a few months I brought customer accounts within terms and resolved incorrect transactions.
