Accomplishments - Led development of the first Shell-Tenant Improvement-Civil Prototype, a Construction Document set containing 130 sheets and a 1100-page project manual of specifications. - Developed The Fresh Market’s first Master Design Agreement in collaboration with legal counsel; document provided consistent terms that enabled bidding of six-figure service proposals, reduced E&O change orders upon initial use by 70%, and eliminated time spent on contract negotiation. - Created a national network of A/E firms of varying sizes and geographies, allowing formation of project teams best suited to meet the speed, quality, and cost needs for any given project. - Oversaw the customization of, and subsequent training for A/E consultants in Projectmates; cloud-based project management software that brought TFM real-time reporting and cross project comparison capabilities for budgets, invoicing, and service deliveries. - Developed a Change Management evaluation and approval process in conjunction with senior leadership that allowed the processing of 326 interdepartmental design initiatives in year 1. - Led development of the exterior signage library, standards, and shop drawings for the company’s new logo and typeface in collaboration with marketing and our national signage vendor. - Provided expert testimony in regards to accessibility claims.
