I successfully developed the volunteer strategy and delivered Gaddum's first ever volunteering programme.During the pandemic I was able to successfully adapt the programme to remain operational and deliver against funding requirements despite restrictions. Beyond funding the continued delivery of this project was particularly important and the evaluation showed it reduced social isolation in both volunteers and the carers they were supporting.

I was responsible for the management of day to day operations and a large staff team across the north west to deliver mentoring programmes, volunteer recruitment and business development.I was able to grow the reach of the mentoring programmes across the north west by establishing programmes in Liverpool. This was the first geographical expansion of the charity in 15 years. This resulted in the charity achieving national status allowing access to new funding streams.
