As the Vice President of Marketing for McMaster CanTeach, I am responsible for community outreach, managing social media, and producing content to advertise the organization. I work with platforms such as Canva to create graphics, Instagram to promote CanTeach, and Microsoft for organizational purposes. Alongside my other executive members, we work hard to create a positive image for CanTeach and raise awareness for the cause. Co-op Student

As a co-op student, I worked in various departments throughout the hospital. I assisted patients in Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, and Rehabilitation as support or to bring them from place to place. In the Cardiology department, I viewed stress tests, transesophageal echocardiograms, prepared IV lines, and various other tests. In Diagnostic Imaging, I viewed scans like X-rays, MRIs, CT, and nuclear med scans. In the Rehabilitation unit, I set up interactive activities for patients and helped my supervisor with any tasks that needed to be done.

Swim Instructor

As a swim instructor, I was responsible for a group of children teaching them the basics of swimming through a lesson plan that I created every week. I assisted with the first aid courses and provided a comprehensive understanding of first aid for my students. I worked with kids with disabilities, adults learning to swim, and children ranging from babies to teens. Through the company, I took part in our Swim for Syria program in which we would provide lessons to Syrian refugees.
