I have taught violin to students of various levels and ages privately and also to undergraduate music majors as a TA during my Masters. I have also freelanced in the cities I've lived in- greater CT, Philadelphia, Cleveland, and Kansas City. I have served as a substitute violinist for Symphony in C and the Kansas City Symphony. I am passionate about using classical music as a vehicle for social change and have visited and observed at various El Sistema inspired programs around the country. I was responsible for overseeing a 1 week music camp that introduces chamber music to beginning string players. I put together a curriculum and schedule, facilitated masterclasses, and successfully put together a final concert including chamber music and chamber orchestra performances by participants.
