It was a pleasure having Keerthana work with our group in BIDMC, Boston, MA. Keerthana‘s positive outlook and enthusiasm for her work made her a great addition to our group. I was impressed by her joy for learning and ability to incorporate her knowledge in different projects. Keerthana had the opportunity to work on projects involving single cell as well bulk RNA sequencing. She has worked on building a prediction tool for glioblastoma using machine learning algorithms in R for predicting biomarkers. She has also worked on Ingenuity pathway analysis to identify critical networks as well as relationship between modified pathways and gene expression. She was never fazed by any project and took pride in completing her projects well. I highly recommend Keerthana as she will be an asset to any company/lab she joins.

-My role was to find the active site residues residing in the protein and their function.-I worked mainly on the proteins belonging to Enolase superfamily. -I used an in-house tool that uses Maximum Likelihood POOL to achieve this. -My role was to find the active site residues residing in the protein and their function.-I worked mainly on the proteins belonging to Enolase superfamily. -I used an in-house tool that uses Maximum Likelihood POOL to achieve this.

•Used R packages like WGCNA, SVM in order to develop a tool for predicting Glioblastoma based on expression analysis using dataset downloaded from TCGA, through Machine learning algorithms. •Analyzed single cell sequencing AML-Human samples through Seurat 2.0 package in R, generated clusters with annotation for each cluster and this was then implemented into single cell sequencing pipeline. •Worked on FastQC for mouse samples to understand tools like Hisat2, cut adapt, bowtie for NGS analysis•Worked on Ingenuity Pathway Analysis tool for colorectal cancer data to generate networks that help in understanding correlations between them.
