Responsible for managing and evolving database practices, naming systems, and metadata tags for one of the largest publicly accessible television archives in the world.Generated records and work orders for all assets entering the Digital Asset Management(DAM) systemEvolved the naming and tagging conventions for Paley assets as the archive became primarily digital.Assisted in the transition from the original local database file management system to a fully cloud based DAM, and then to a hybrid DAM.Cleared issues related to the migrations and to poor earlier record keeping resulting in removing thousands of dead records and accidental special characters.Trained coworkers on how to use each of the successive DAMs and best practices for each.Designed and implemented a workflow for the efficient delivery of digital assets utilizing SharePoint to increase the ease of tracking and efficiency of cross-department communication.Created and updated multiple additional SharePoint documents for tracking the progress of both short-term and on-going projects and monitored them to ensure they were accurate and up to date.
