I oversaw the development of a new website that allowed us to sign up new members online. This increased our membership by 347% to 1475 members, becoming the 4th largest society in Trinity.I managed all social media platforms, using Facebook events to increase attendance at events instead of posters. We live tweeted our speakers, and used linkedin to source new keynote speakers. I used my knowledge of Facebook advertising to increase the awareness about the society around college by targeting specific computer science and business students who would be potentially by interested in our society. I also helped with organizing all of our events throughout the year, with a particular responsibility for bringing in Niall McGarry to speak to the society. From our hard work, we were shortlisted for 5 awards and won Best Online Presence for which was my responsibility.

During my time at Shop Direct Ireland I carried out a wide variety of tasks such as managing the PicStash account, researching ecommerce review methods and attending meetings with Facebook and Twitter. However, much of my time was spent on preparations for the through the line Autumn- Winter and Christmas advertising campaigns. My role comprised of ordering and controlling the inventory for the ads as well as liaising relevant information with the Advertising Agency.
