  The University of Rhode Island teams up with local companies to provide senior engineering students with a project that benefits both the company and the students. Working in a group of three Industrial & Systems Engineering students we were tasked with automating the earring manufacturing process using Epson robots. Using pneumatic suction, GIGI vision systems, and a flex feeder table the robot is programmed to load earrings into trays for an oven for soldering.
