Glencore holds significant interests in a range of commodity industries across all mainland states and the Northern Territory. Glencore is a major Australian employer, with about 16,000 people working across industries that include coal, copper, cotton, grain and oilseeds, nickel, oil and zinc. McArthur River Mine (MRM) is situated in the remote Gulf of Carpentaria, is the world's second largest zinc resource and a key operation in Glencore's global portfolio. MRM produces zinc, lead and silver from our open cut mine which is then processed, stored onsite and transported to Bing Bong Loading Facility to be shipped to our customers all over the world. •Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. •Read technical diagrams and blueprints. •Perform general electrical maintenance. •Inspect transformers and other electrical components. •Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. •Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures. •Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations. •Good knowledge of various test equipment.
