As a software Automation Test Engineer currently i am working for our client BTicino. The group where I'm working has developed video-door entry terminals connected to wifi network. The device can be managed with an app available for android and iOS mobiles, so that user can receive and send voip calls to and from the video entry terminal. The device can be managed with an app available for android and iOS mobiles, so that user can receive and send voip calls to and from the video entry terminal. I'm performing functional integration tests manually on these systems but also automation tests have been developed to verify non-regression on new releases. We need to build a whole new set of automated tests to follow the development of this device. Existing Test suites inherited from previous projects were built using "Jenkins" and "Robot Framework", two automation tests tools. and currently i am also used those tools for new ongoing project. Technologies involved in short: - video door terminal: linux o.s customised for the embedded device, sw applications are developed in c++ , qt libraries for gui - robot framework: ubuntu o.s, test suites are based on python libraries and bash scripts - app both for android and iOS - cloud based on Azure platform - communication from app to cloud: JSON rest - communication from device and cloud JSON RPC (transport = MQTT) - REST API test automation using Postman Show less As a software Automation Test Engineer currently i am working for our client BTicino.
