As part of my Master's thesis, I was working with HTM - the main tram company in the area of The Hague. I was researching the effectiveness of an intervention that came into place in 2020. The intervention is the so called 'Drukte Indicator' (in English 'Crowdedness Indicator') that shows how full the tram is at any given moment. I was researching how many people make use of this indicator, who the users are (what are their motives and needs when using a tram) and what effects the crowdedness indicator has. Based on the obtained and analyzed the data, I also gave recommendations for further improvement of the service that HTM provides. Show less
