  In my current position with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, I provide advice, information and resources to municipal staff and elected officials in twenty-nine (29) municipalities across Eastern Ontario. Specifically, I provide advice on the application and interpretation of various Acts including the Municipal Act, Municipal Elections Act, and the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act among others. I also respond to the questions of municipal staff, elected officials and residents within the region on matters related to local government, housing and community planning and development. I provide analysis and recommendations to municipal managers on local issues and regional concerns. Using this information, I prepare written responses and documentation including minister’s correspondence, briefing notes, public advisories, and conference delegation notes on said issues. Moreover, I lead ministry initiatives surrounding municipal cyber security and marine transportation.I often support the Deputy Minister's Office and the Assistant Deputy Minister's Office during staff vacancies as both an Acting Special Advisor and Acting Executive Assistant.
