  I teach EDUC/PSYC 1300, Learning Framework, using the Eastfield College customized OnCourse model, which integrates Bloom’s Taxonomy, Paul and Elder’s Elements of Thought, Paul and Elder’s Theory of Intellectual Development (Stage Theory), and Albert Ellis’ ABC Theory. I also teach HDEV 0092 Student Success and HDEV 0100 (probation 2 and 3 students) courses for underprepared students. I am currently a QEP committee member via instruction of a QEP learning community EDUC/PSYC 1300 section and as a committee member, planner, and facilitator for discipline training sessions for Learning Framework. I actively participate in a partnership with academic advising to promote student success for EDUC/PSYC 1300 and HDEV 0092 students and advise students outside of class as well. Evaluate workshops offered and plan for implementation of workshops in online format for distance learning students; evaluations are also used to expand workshop topics offered for the upcoming semesters. Workshop attendance by Richland College students has increased by over thirty percent each semester in my role as coordinator. Additionally, while completing all my other duties, I have served on multiple search teams (faculty, PSS, and administration positions).Responsible for staying abreast of new technologies and/or resources to better the services provided and research, planning, and implementation of online workshops for distance learning students; ran a successful pilot of two online workshops Fall 2013 semester. Used academic knowledge to best assist students in degree plan tracks for their desired fields and programs of study.
