I worked with Kate when she joined Reading Room as a Project Manager - in fact I can still recall the moment in her interview when I decided we had to hire her - her calm, assured way of presenting her solution to a complex technical and organisational problem (a problem entirely made up for the interview) became her default way of operating on real projects and with the most demanding of clients. Kate was always top of everyone's list when we were considering bidding for projects and she was as adept at helping us win work as she was at delivering it. Kate is particularly good at developing a good working relationship with her project team with excellent judgement re when to push and when to listen and adapt. She is probably the best digital project manager I worked with and has potential far beyond that kind of role. Definitely one of the good ones.

I worked alongside Kate for about five years at the IPA. Besides being an absolute pleasure to work with, she was driven, innovative, got stuck in with any task she was given and was always ready to help when necessary. One of Kate's main strength is her talent for communicating with people at all levels. She has an infectious sense of humour which helps break the ice in business but also makes her a fantastic team player. Kate is highly organised in her work and handles pressure well especially when it comes to managing events or running the IPA's educational programmes. Finally Kate is incredibly creative and comes up with ideas that help everyone. She has a great deal of digital experience playing a central role in the development of the IPA Professional Development website and being a key contributor to their social media communication.
