I completed my social work field practicum at United Way of Denton County as an Advocacy Intern. I worked under the CEO and the Director of Education and Workforce Initiatives with the primary of goal of drafting and presenting agenda items that advocate for support for intervention and prevention programs that make homelessness rare, brief and non-reoccurring, and policies that lower barriers and promote increase in affordable, available, and accessible housing in Denton County.
