Karen worked on a complex 3D "animatronic man" for us at the UKs largest elective orthopaedic treament centre (a best in class Centre of Excellence and an NHS hospital: www.eoc.nhs.uk). The model was a skeleton with skin covering that highlighed various new-technology prosthetic joints (hips, knees, shoulder and spine) created by multinational pharmaceuticals and used by the UK's leading orthopaedic surgeons performing 12,000 joint surgeries per year. First phase of the project was to produce a static 3D man for use in the annual report, presentations and a large exhibition pullup stand. Second phase will require that the "AniMan" be animated and thus Karen had to work with the 3D drawing files supplied by the Pharmaceuticals - both a challenging and intricate job. The finished product was absolutely fantastic and exceeded expectations. With many stakeholders on our side, the process itself was challenging and she was absolutely fantastic to work with. She kept us informed all the way through the project and educated us on what is a new-tech field and a complex sub-set within the Graphic Design and Digital Media industry. We all were seriously impressed with her level of expertise in 3D and her conceptual design talent and will definitely be using her again.
