Bio
Stephen Jensen
Kazuko has been my project manager, colleague, and friend since 2010 and I couldn't recommend someone more highly. As a project manager and frequent editor of my translations, she brings a high level of English proficiency and always strikes a good balance between acknowledging the quality of my work and challenging me with ideas to improve it. She is professional, genuine and thoughtful in her communication, which creates a sense of openness and ease in our working relationship. But perhaps most importantly, she has been a huge champion for my work and professional development, not only communicating my writing decisions to clients (a tiring task, probably) but also negotiating better project terms and offering me opportunities to take on new and more-challenging tasks for clients. These qualities are rare if not unmatched in a translation project manager. I think it's safe to say that I wouldn't be where I am in my career without Kazuko's skill, hard work and support, for which I'm very grateful.
