I have worked with Kayur now with many complex trauma rehabilitation cases over the last few years. My role was to deliver a functional screening programme for AASE (Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence) athletes based at Loughborough College. The aim is to collect data and information regarding the level of conditioning among athletes entering the U20 age group. This data is useful for the athlete and their coach as they progress towards senior competition, provide data to compare when re-tested in the future, and highlight any red flags which could suggest an underlying pathology.
