Rahab’s Sisters creates community through radical hospitality with those marginalized by poverty, houselessness, sex work, violence, and substance use. Founded in 2003, we believe community is a basic human need essential to well-being, and that everyone deserves to feel they belong somewhere. Radical hospitality strives to break down barriers of fear, shame and judgment and create a healing space where individuals feel valued and find solidarity with one another. As Program Manager, I oversee the delivery of services and programs with a focus on emulating the Rahab's Sisters values of Radical Hospitality. This role focuses prioritizing Guest experiences and feedback into long range planning and quality assurance decisions. Rahab's Sisters understands that systemic inequities rooted in racism, classism, and sexism create and perpetuate houselessness, and understand that houselessness is a symptom of exclusion. Above all, as Program Manager I hope to serve as an advocate for Rahab’s Sisters and its community. Show less
