I implement third grade curriculum in a full inclusion classroom of thirty-two students and identify multiple intelligences within each student to differentiate instruction. Additionally, I maintain a positive learning environment throughout the school year using various classroom management strategies while creating lesson plans for multiple subjects. My goal is to reach all students of varying academic abilities, learning differences, and behavioral needs. As a student teacher, I had the opportunity to implement curriculum using differentiated instruction in a kindergarten classroom for 16 weeks, and take over full responsibility of the classroom teacher for a four week period. I also maintained appropriate and consistent classroom management strategies in a kindergarten classroom and supported a diverse population of students including English Learners through instruction of math, science, language arts, and social studies.
