Audience Development Manager

Feb 2018 - Oct 2019
I was promoted to this position due to my efforts to engage and retain new audiences from various segments for The Philadelphia Orchestra, across all product lines for Philadelphia area based concerts. I oversee group and corporate sales programs, along with the eZseatU College Ticket Program, Annual Free College Concert, and CorpTix. Additionally, I am responsible for putting together and running successful advertising campaigns throughout the season to promote upcoming concerts and opportunities. During the 2017-2018 season, I started our "Concert and a Clinic" program which allows student groups to add a clinic enhancement to their group orders. Each clinic includes a 90 minute guided rehearsal by one or more of our Philadelphia Orchestra musicians. In an effort to bring as many groups from all over the world into Verizon Hall, I participate in various tourism & trade shows (ABA, SYTA, etc.), where I am given the opportunity to share our product with tour operators, both domestic and international. I also work with members of the PHL CVB in showing various tour operators from around the world all of the amazing attractions Philadelphia has to offer, by facilitating special opportunities like group tickets to a concert or a special backstage tour of the venue. I have the pleasure of also assisting in the planning and event work for our distinguished Young Friends program. I also act as a staff liaison on our newly formed Young Friends Advisory Council. The Young Friends Advisory Council is a group of our most engaged Young Friends members, musicians, and board members, which aims to grow the Young Friends program, raise money for our annual fund, and create new innovative ways for young people to interact with the orchestra.

I worked towards attaining younger audiences and strengthening patron loyalty through young professional networking outlets, tourism & hospitality trade shows, local college fairs and other industry events. During my time in this role, I was able to grow the eZseatU membership program to reach higher levels unseen in previous years.
