As a Production Manager my duties include the overseeing of running the entire print production department, and leading the production team. It also covers frequent and in depth communication with the front office team, both in person and through our production management site.I lead and train new members of staff, teaching and advising them on the use of new machines- both print and finishing apparatus, and clothing production equipment.I am fully competent and skilled in all the equipment within the print room, with a developing knowledge and skill set in Adobe Illustrator for design, Adobe Acrobat, as well as invoicing systems, and client communication and liaisons. My job requires me to adhere to deadlines and follow a strict production schedule, as set out in our production management system. Myself and my team consistently meet these deadlines, also ensuring that all standard operation procedures are met, health and safety procedures are carried out and are in place, all while producing high quality product requirements for companies and clients. My role also oversees the ordering and management of supplies for the print production room, providing high quality materials to my team to create the same high quality orders for clients.
