Kayla is not only the consummate professional, she is personable and upbeat. She is the definition of "team" as she not only stays on top of her own work, but is aware of other's needs and volunteers to pitch in with a smile. One of Kayla's strengths is her ability to quickly generate rapport with her clients, be they employers or students. In addition, Kayla has contributed greatly to learning and development, specifically as it relates to course curriculum design. Many of Kayla's suggestions have been integrated into program development which has enhanced the learning of staff and course participants. Kayla has the ability to both generate ideas as well as see them through to implementation. It is a pleasure to work with a bright, capable and engaging colleague.
Lauren Maloney
Kayla's role in our group is to support the work that Co-op Coordinators do with their students - it takes only about five minutes of working with Kayla to realize that 'support' is the least of what she expertly does each and every day when she shows up to the office. Kayla and her work are instrumental in our Team and her ability to advise and coach students is on the same level of professionals that have years of experience. She is continually positive and is a true advocate for her students - fighting to see each and every student have a successful co-op search. She is a fabulous presenter and teacher and is able to take abstract topics and make them fun and digestible for students. She is a true team player - willing and ready to take on any task - and she has the unique skill set of being able to create big picture, strategic ideas while also being highly process-oriented and organized. Kayla is a trusted colleague and friend and would be an asset to any team and organization.
