I had the true pleasure of having Kayla on my team at both Samsung and Jetson, where she consistently displayed her expertise in data analytics, building out extensive DataMart systems and user-friendly PowerBI reporting dashboards. Kayla’s expertise in understanding the intricacies of our operations allowed her to collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization (e.g. sales, demand planning, logistics, customer care) to help identify the metrics and data sources critical for visibility and decision-making, and drive implementation in coordination with data engineering. Through her meticulous approach, Kayla empowered the business to make strategic adjustments and drive continuous improvement. I had the pleasure to work with Kayla twice - at Samsung and Jetson and I'd keep working with her in every single opportunity. Kayla pays tremendous attention to the details and in an Analytics role, this is so important and we need to make sure that the reports and analysis that we're presenting are accurate. What I really appreciate about her, is the great set of tools / skills that she has on her toolbox - extremely analytical, business understanding, build the bridge between technical and business, empathy and team player. At Jetson, despite of not having knowledge in certain areas such as logistics and production, she was able to work with the stakeholders, capture their requirements and built amazing set of tools / analysis that would improve the way those teams are managing their operations. Set of automated KPIs, scorecards and root cause analysis was designed and built by Kayla and her team of engineers that are now part of the daily operations to continuously improve their performance. Also, on the technical side, she is not afraid to learn new things. While at Samsung we were using Tableau as a BI solution, at Jetson we are using Power BI - she not quickly learned new tool, but also taught others on how to use it, building a team of what we call SMEs - Subject Matter Experts. Kayla is so brilliant on everything that she does, and someone I place my strong confidence that she'll deliver exceptional results, on time, with great quality and accuracy, on whatever she does.
