Workforce and Professional Development Attend and engage in virtual group gatherings, training, and meetings that build towards STARS program goals. Network and gain exposure with professionals in science careers. Build communication and leadership skills through project work and gain an appreciation for the details that go into producing learning experiences. Engage in an investigation of scientific phenomena while practicing and reflecting on learning, teaching, and facilitation styles. Participate in science activity development while developing research and documentation skills. Work independently and in small groups on projects with the goal of teaching others. Possible projects may include creating inclusive educational activities for Exploratorium museum visitors, contributing to social media content development, creating training for other staff. Collaborate with the Public Programs team in creating virtual programs on LGBTQ+ and Racial Equity in sciences. Present projects virtually for museum staff and museum virtual audiences.
