  Systems Analysis Research Group Biorefinery Project: • Developed a computational model in Python to simulate and monitor nitrogen flow through a novel biomass refinery that produces valuable products from animal waste. • Conducted a life cycle assessment to determine the climate impact of biomass refineries with different animal waste sources and process configurations. Wastewater Project: • Utilized life cycle assessment techniques to determine the viability of incorporating nitrous oxide gas separation technologies to aid in nitrogen removal and energy production from wastewater treatment plants. • Presented monthly to a combined research project group between the University of Chicago and Northwestern University.
