  Our family have been farming on Loch Lomond since the 1750's. I am now the 11th generation to farm at Shantron and Shemore Farm. We offer luxury adults accommodation in our hand built bespoke Bonnie Barns with hot tubs which opened in September 2020. Designed and manufactured at the farm by my husband Dougie, we have created a relaxing space for 2, with panoramic views of Loch Lomond. We offer a range of Farm Tours throughout the seasons, which include Lambing experience, sheep shearing demonstration, sheep dog demonstration, travel trade, drystone dyking courses and our Adventure Quad Bike trailer tours. We also have 2 family cottages, originally built for our shepherds and thier families but now converted into holiday accommodation which have been operating since the 1970s.   Farming at Shantron and Shemore Farm since the 1750s the Lennox family are now working into into its 11th generation. We are a 5000 acre, Tenanted Hill sheep and Cattle Farm. We currently have 1100 breeding Scottish Blackface ewes. Who are direct descendants of the original sheep to this farm back in the 1750s. We have been genetically recording our flock since the 1980s. We have 25 suckler cows which are a mix of Blue greys and Luing cattle. Our family first diversified into Agritourism in the 1970s with farm tours and self catering accommodation.
