The Georgia Mountain Food Bank, an affiliate of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, is located at 1642 Calvary Industrial Drive, SW, Gainesville Georgia. The food bank solicits donations of surplus food products to be sorted, inspected, and redistributed to nonprofit organizations serving low-income citizens in North Georgia. The Georgia Mountain Food Bank serves the primary resource of food for 71 feeding groups in Dawson, Forsyth, Hall, Lumpkin, and Union counties. Along with the core food distribution, the Food Bank supports after-school snack programs, senior box programs, and other food distribution, models. The Food Bank is an affiliate of the Atlanta Community Food Bank (network member of Feeding America).
