  Responsibilities Will undertake the AWS educate cloud computing and software engineering course to build insight in concepts such as cloud storage, networking, databases, balancing, security, performance efficiency and economics. Will familiarise with IoT (Internet of Things) concepts such as sensing, MQTT, computation and applied this in developing sensor applications communicating to Thingspeak, Thingsboard and applications for AWS Iot through gateway. Understand computer fundamentals, AWS services Understand the principles of entrepreneurship such as product design, market research, customer interaction, finance, marketing and a pitch deck for an idea. Accomplishments Will become a certified AWS Cloud Practicioner. Will finish introduction to python programming and OOPS (object oriented programming and systems) course on Udacity and educative. Will complete a commercial innovation project for Quaker Houghton based on predictive maintenance solutions utilising IoT and Machine Learning via AWS. Will complete 3-4 self-learning projects based on server hosting, connecting devices such as ESP32 and Raspberry Pi to AWS Iot and sending data through an array of sensors such as DHT11 etc.

  Responsibilities Cultivated understanding of process engineering deliverables such as PFD (Process Flow Diagrams), P&ID (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams), heat and mass balance, process data sheets, operating control and shutdown philosophy and cause and effect diagram. Gained insight into the day to day tasks in different disciplines of the oil and the gas industry to understand their roles in engineering and operations of Shell’s facilities including offshore platform production, utilities, pipelines, and unit operations. Accomplishments Independently studied, organised and analysed the interdisciplinary associations and delivered a presentation about the topics successfully to cater to people of varying experience which included principal and senior engineers. The presentation was simplified to be delivered at a tech fest.

  Responsibilities Supported a chemical engineer for two weeks in producing company reports developing an understanding of engineering deliverables. Assimilated key concepts about HAZOP fundamentals, interpreted P&Ids, and studied the process of oil from its extraction to distribution. Visited the SPE offshore exhibition and networked with some of the key innovators at the forefront of the oil and gas industry. Attended lectures of the keynote speakers of the IChemE association with a focus on energy transition in the industry. Accomplishments Successfully assist a senior engineer in day to day tasks and become adept in interpreting and scrutinising data through engineering software and visual representation of data.
